We understand that your trust in us is mobietec’s most valuable asset (hereinafter referred to as “mobietec,” “we,” or “us”), and your privacy is therefore essential to us. This Privacy Statement (hereinafter referred to as the “Privacy Statement”) applies to (i) our website https://www.mobietec.com/nl (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”), (ii) all commercial relationships between mobietec and its customers, and (iii) all commercial relationships between mobietec and end customers of the products.
mobietec emphasizes that it always strives to act in accordance with the Belgian Privacy Law of December 8, 1992, for the protection of personal privacy regarding the processing of personal data. This Privacy Statement contains information on the personal data collected by mobietec, as well as how mobietec uses and processes this personal data.

We receive, collect, and process data from customers/suppliers/future employees/partners/subcontractors, etc., and their employees in the context of cooperation or potential cooperation (prospection).
These data fall into the category of “General Identification Data” and include:

- Telephone number, mobile number, etc.
- Other unique details such as your job title

The personal data we collect are adequate and relevant for our purposes. We limit our collection of personal data to the minimum necessary for the purposes for which we process personal data.
mobietec receives and processes personal data of applicants to recruit a new employee. The data collected include the “General Identification Data” supplemented with additional information typically included in a Curriculum Vitae.
In this processing, mobietec relies on the legitimate interest of recruiting the suitable candidate for an open position.
Method of Collecting Personal Data
The above personal data are collected through:
- Requesting a quote
- Placing an order
- Filling in a contact form on the Website
- Subscribing to the newsletter
- Registering a product on the Website to obtain an additional commercial warranty of two (2) years
- Creating an account on the Website to access mobietec’s Customer Portal, where you can download product certificates and assembly instructions (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer Portal”)
- Contacts at networking events/trade fairs
The personal data collected by mobietec are explicitly and voluntarily provided by you.
Use of Personal Data
We need personal data for standard business operations and to provide our services. Under GDPR, this corresponds to the “legitimate interest of the data controller,” contractual obligations, and legal requirements.
mobietec may use your personal data for the following purposes:
- Preparing a quote
- Executing and delivering your order
- Performing the services you requested, such as assembly, repair, or maintenance
- Sending requested newsletters
- Approving or denying your account registration to access the Customer Portal
- Enabling your access to and use of Website services (including the Customer Portal)
- Providing the two (2) year additional commercial warranty after product registration
- Customer satisfaction surveys and market research
- Gaining insights into our end customer base

mobietec will not disclose your personal data to third parties unless necessary to provide a service to you (including product delivery, execution of services, and performing credit or security checks). Any third party receiving your data must use it in accordance with this Privacy Statement. mobietec ensures that your data are treated confidentially and securely.
mobietec may disclose your personal data to authorities (i) when legally required in connection with judicial procedures or (ii) to protect our rights.
mobietec will never sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to third parties.
To process personal data, we grant access to our employees under contractual obligations similar to this Privacy Statement.
Social Media
mobietec maintains company pages on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube to inform you about our services, current topics, events, or careers. You are free to follow or not follow these social media channels.
Storage of Personal Data
Unless a longer retention period is required or justified by law or legal obligations, mobietec stores your personal data for two years. Inactive accounts will have personal data deleted after this period.

You may access, review, correct, update, or delete your personal data by contacting privacy@mobietec.be. Requests are free of charge and should specify the right you wish to exercise and how we can contact you.

Cross-Border Data Processing
All personal data collected by Mobietec are stored and processed only in Belgium. No cross-border transfer occurs.
