Today marks our 20th anniversary!

The story of Mobietec began in 2005, when founder Hans Bruynooghe went in search of the ideal roof rack for his own vehicle. No model met his expectations, so he decided to design one himself. His choice of aluminium instead of steel (uncommon at the time) proved visionary. The result was a lightweight, strong and user-friendly roof rack that quickly attracted attention.

What started as a personal solution grew into a rapidly developing company thanks to word-of-mouth advertising. Mobietec took its first steps from a small warehouse in Zwevezele, followed by expansion with additional employees, a growing network and later the international step to France and the Netherlands. Digitisation, professionalisation and the construction of new premises in Spiere-Helkijn enabled the company to continue to grow without losing sight of its origins.

Mobietec has since grown into a leading manufacturer of high-quality aluminium accessories for commercial vehicles, including roof racks, glass carriers and ladders. The product range has been expanded, its European presence strengthened, and its ambition remains greater than ever.

Today we celebrate 20 years of mobietec. Twenty years of innovation, craftsmanship and innovation. But above all: twenty years supported by people. Our dealer network, our customers, our fantastic team and everyone who believes in us. You are the reason we are where we are today. Thank you for your trust, your cooperation and the many wonderful stories we have been able to write together over the years.
